Total Hidden Gem!
Check-in was a breeze, the staff were just amazing.. Large king size room with pull-out sofa, rooftop patio with table and chairs. Ice-cold A/C and the beds and pillows were very, very comfortable. This room was a quiet as we could have asked for. We never heard another guest, or any street noise. The rain shower in that room is exquisite! You can’t beat the location. Dozens of bars and restaurants within a couple blocks, Columbus Circle, Central Park, Broadway, Times Square, minutes away. The discounted parking right next door is a huge bonus.

A GREAT stay. Staff is friendly and efficient, hallways are funky & fun, rooms are nicely furnished & reasonably roomy by NYC standards, "rain" showers are terrific, excellent location, great restaurants in the block - all good! My new go-to.

Had a great time in NYC and the hotel has a huge part of it. Hotel was very nice, rooms where a decent size for New York and the staff was very helpful. Keenan from guest services was helpful with all the request I had as well. Will be coming back soon.

Cozy, Stylish, and Perfectly Located
From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel at home. The hotel itself is a masterpiece of modern design. The chic, art-inspired decor throughout the property adds a unique charm, rooms are beautifully appointed. My room was spotless, with a super comfortable bed, high-quality linens, and a spacious bathroom.. Despite being in the heart of the city, the room was peaceful and quiet, making it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring.

Impeccable customer service
We go frequently to NYC and always stay at this boutique hotel. Has a great location, close to subways stations, walk to Broadway, Rockefeller Center, Columbus Circle, museums and great local dining alternatives around. Has a 24 hr. market just around the corner. But best of all is the customer service provided by the friendly and helpful staff.

Warm, friendly and a comfortable stay
I stayed at the Moderne for 12 nights and was so taken care of by the whole team. Special shout out to Jerry and Andy who made sure I got in safe when returning after dark and always had everything I needed. The team are so friendly and kind, so it made it feel so comfortable. I highly recommend a visit and will certainly be back!

Perfect location & wonderful service
We loved this hotel! It was a two-minute walk to Broadway, and about five minutes to Fifth Avenue, location was amazing. Even better was the customer service.. treated us like royalty. The rooms were a good size, and there was a lovely guest lounge on the second floor with a variety of a amenities, including board games in case you are taking children. Thank you from your Canadian friends.

Excellent hotel and location
The bed in the junior suite was so comfortable! The lay out of the room was very nice as well. Great shower! Will definitely stay here again next time we visit NYC. The location was great.. easy to walk from hotel to Times Square.

Pleasantly surprised!
My friends and I visited New York on a girls trip and Moderne Hotel offered everything we were looking for, in what turned be the perfect location for everything that we had planned. The guest relations manager Keenan, Khalid and all of the amazing staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was unforgettable. The atmosphere, modern decor, and rain showers were just the icing on the cake. We can't wait to come back and visit again soon.

Must Stay! Great atmosphere & location! Breakfast was available to grab & go. The hotel staff, including Andy & Jerry were super friendly, helpful & welcoming. Hotel Room was spacious & the beds were extra comfortable. Definitely plan on staying at this hotel again in the near future!

Wonderful stay!!! My boyfriend and I stayed and this one is a gem. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff and a sleek, modern atmosphere that made us feel right at home. We loved our room, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless and the views of the city were also nice. Perfect location!

Moderne Hotel is a gem. The hotel was perfectly located just a few blocks from Times Square / theater district. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, well appointed and the beds were good. The staff were taking care of every need and were very communicative. We would definitely stay here again.

Phenomenal Location
My husband and I got upgraded to a suite upon arrival and were able to store our luggage upon check in and check out. The room was clean and comfortable.. it was incredibly quiet. The bed was comfy and the amenities were plentiful. Francesca facilitated a smooth checkin and was very sweet. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly kind and helpful. Special shout-out to their doorman for always providing recommendations and being just delightful to encounter. Can’t beat the location and the prices are a steal for the area. We’ll definitely be staying here for future trips to NYC!

Wonderful Stay!
A great location! Clean, friendly staff, well appointed rooms and comfy beds and pillows. Water on the nightstand, coffee and pastry in the morning. We were guests of the day and received a free room upgrade, chocolates and sparkling water. There is a parkade right next door. We will definitely be back and this is truly a gem in the crown.

The location is perfect, the rooms are quiet and well equipped. The team is very friendly and helpful. It is also nice that there is drinks and free snacks for breakfast. My opinion: 5-star plus! I would gladly come again!

It's hard to find a clean, affordable, comfortable place to stay in midtown, and the Moderne fit the bill.. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of small decorative touches show someone cares. Convenient to Broadway, Rockefeller Center, subway, Central Park, restaurants, etc. We also appreciated that they let us keep our luggage there all day after we checked out and even use the lounge and bathrooms until we took a taxi to the train.

The location is excellent. Easy walking distance to Broadway, Central Park and Times Square. Two excellent restaurants are right next to the hotel (Nocello and Mughlai) and McGee’s Pub is just across the street. Our room was clean and housekeeping service was offered daily.. The room was exactly described on the website.
Staff are so friendly and helpful. Every time we left the hotel or arrived back we were greeted with a warm smile. Our driver didn’t arrive as we were checking out, but the front office staff came to the rescue and quickly found us a ride. I would definitely stay again!Smyrna, TripAdvisor
Have just stayed a week at The Moderne. Always very welcoming and helpful front desk staff mornings and evenings. Very convenient location, midtown with easy access to 57th subway, Central Park, Broadway. Loved its smallness, no hassle with lifts.. Other guests friendly. Small relaxing common room on second floor with hot drinks , fridge, microwave and daily morning breakfast scones and cereal available. Hotel room was a good size with little refrigerator. Well kept furnishings, clean. Really enjoyed my NY stay here, especially as a solo traveller.
