First time visiting NYC for my birthday. The checkin was a breeze, staff was super friendly, helpful and definitely made us feel welcome. Anything we needed from the front desk the response was immediate. I would like to give a special thank you to Jerry as he helped out from the curb to our room.. I would also like to thank the front desk for letting me take advantage of the huge mirror in the lobby for my selfie purposes lol.
Check-in was a breeze, the staff were just amazing.. Large king size room with pull-out sofa, rooftop patio with table and chairs. Ice-cold A/C and the beds and pillows were very, very comfortable. This room was a quiet as we could have asked for. We never heard another guest, or any street noise. The rain shower in that room is exquisite! You can’t beat the location. Dozens of bars and restaurants within a couple blocks, Columbus Circle, Central Park, Broadway, Times Square, minutes away. The discounted parking right next door is a huge bonus.
It's hard to find a clean, affordable, comfortable place to stay in midtown, and the Moderne fit the bill.. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of small decorative touches show someone cares. Convenient to Broadway, Rockefeller Center, subway, Central Park, restaurants, etc. We also appreciated that they let us keep our luggage there all day after we checked out and even use the lounge and bathrooms until we took a taxi to the train.
A GREAT stay. Staff is friendly and efficient, hallways are funky & fun, rooms are nicely furnished & reasonably roomy by NYC standards, "rain" showers are terrific, excellent location, great restaurants in the block - all good! My new go-to.
