Although the Highline is a popular destination to visit during any season, something about that fall filter over the NYC skyline will make this stroll a wonderful experience. Pair this mile and a half walk with some great company and a warm season drink in hand and you'll be all set!

6. Enjoy the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

Nothing says fall in New York quite like the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. For nearly a century, this iconic event celebration has filled the streets of New York, with giant balloons, marching bands, Broadway performances, and festive floats. Held every Thanksgiving morning, the parade runs down Central Park West to Herald Square, bringing millions of viewers both in person and on TV.
